Pablo Sandler, Ph.D. is an AI researcher and entrepreneur specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) and quantum technologies. Waltnel Sosa is an independent advisor based in Trinidad and Tobago with nearly 20 years of local, regional, and international experience in finance and strategy. His career spans corporate finance and developmental finance, having held positions at Bear Stearns, Guy Carpenter, Credit Suisse, and the International Finance Corporation, as well as First Citizens Bank in Trinidad and Tobago, where he led the Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategy Group.

While in the United States, Mr. Sosa was a key team member on several major cross-border acquisitions in the Caribbean. His global finance expertise is complemented by a deep commitment to regional economic development—a passion that now shapes his advisory work.

Currently, Waltnel plays a key role in ScaleUp Trinidad and Tobago, a flagship initiative designed to build a sustainable ecosystem for high-growth entrepreneurs. As a key driver of the project, he focuses on attracting talent, fostering innovation, and creating the conditions for scalable businesses to thrive in the Caribbean.

Waltnel holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hamilton College.
